Topping trees is a major threat to the urban forest and eventually destroys beautiful and valuable resources. We offer alternatives to tree topping. Trees that verhang driveways, walkways or a building pose a safety hazard and will need to be pruned.

Tree Thinning

There are many things you can do to rejuvenate, clean up and make healthy your overgrown shrubs and trees. Judicious thinning can invigorate a plant, accentuate its character or make a dense, tree look lighter and more beautiful. Even the largest, most oppressive looking tree or shrub can be made friendlier with the proper thinning.

Tree Pruning and Shaping

Pruning is the most common tree maintenance procedure. Although forest trees grow quite well with only nature's pruning, landscape trees require a higher level of care to maintain their safety and aesthetics. Pruning should be done with an understanding of how the tree responds to each cut. Improper pruning can cause damage that will last for the life of the tree, or worse, shorten the tree's life.

Tree View Trimming

Brush Chipping

Give us a call and we'll stop by with our power chipper. In a matter of minutes we can turn those bushes, brush and branches into small wood chips and remove them from your property. Our equipment can handle branches and limbs up to 13 inches in diameter.

Stump Grinding

Stump grinding or stump removal of stumps is a process which removes a stump by grinding it into mulch 6-8” below ground level. Grinding of stump is left on top of cavity. Reasons for stump grinding – to allow grass to grow over area, to prevent a stump from growing back.
